78% Repreve Nylon / 22% Spandex
Our sustainable swimwear material is made from consumer waste which is melted down and formed into recycled fiber which is converted into Repreve Nylon.
Summer is here and with it comes our newest collection. As the temperatures rise, dress yourself in lightweight cover-ups and carefree, breezy designs. Dive into swim with lush coral, playful polka dot, deep navy, neutral bare and simply stunning floral.
This season marks our very first collection featuring eco-friendly swimwear. As part of MIKOH’s continued efforts towards sustainability, we have produced our swim primarily with recycled nylon fabrics without compromising the fit or feel of our signature swim.
In this first step to be gentler on the planet, we will be transitioning to these eco-friendly fabrics to replace all swim styles going forward. We have also adopted the usage of biodegradable polybags which were introduced last year.
To celebrate, MIKOH will be donating 10% of Summer swim styles to Women’s Earth Alliance (WEA) starting today through June 1st. We are excited to partner with WEA in their mission to catalyze women-led, grassroots solutions to protect our environment, coastal towns and waters while strengthening communities from the inside out. While the organization is supported in over 22 countries, we were especially excited to give back to Bali, where our collections have been produced with our artisan partners for the last 13 years.
We've long believed in preserving the health of our oceans and Earth and will continue to make concerted efforts in incorporating more sustainable practices into our business and collections, while made with conscious manufacturing practices in place.
