Dr. Paul Scully-Power, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Paul Scully-Power has extensive international experience and proven success in commercial and government organizations throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
He is an acknowledged leader in applied technology, an innovator and corporate strategist, and is Australia’s first astronaut having flown aboard Challenger on the 13th mission of the Space Shuttle.
Dr. Scully-Power has significant expertise in defense, security & intelligence, aviation & aerospace, systems analysis & ICT, sensor & communication systems, and in corporate management. He has served with the Royal Australian Navy, the U.S. Navy, NASA, the Pentagon, the White House, the Lockheed Martin Corporation, and the Tenix Group worldwide, and was a Director of the Australian Trade Commission for five years.
He is a Doctor of Science in Applied Mathematics, a Liveryman of the City of London, and a Member of the Order of Australia.
Dr Scully-Power provides the expertise, leadership, and strategic oversight to steer MIKOH Corporation’s continuing expansion as a global security solutions provider.
Dr. Peter Atherton, Chief Technology Officer and Founder
Dr. Peter Atherton is chief technology officer for MIKOH Corporation. At MIKOH, Atherton is responsible for the development and manufacturing of MIKOH’s security and digital marking technologies. He has a broad background in science and technology, and has been closely involved in the development of all MIKOH technologies to date.
Before joining the company, Atherton managed optical communications research and development at OTC where he was responsible for the development of undersea optical fibre cable designs and high-speed long-distance optical communications technologies.
Hans van Pelt, Chief Operating Officer, Asia Pacific
Hans van Pelt is MIKOH's senior executive within Asia-Pac and is driving the operational & business aspects within the region. Mr van Pelt is involved in all MIKOH's business lines but has been especially focused on Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) including Electronic Vehicle Registration (EVR) and Secure Variable Data Printing.
Mr van Pelt has extensive strategic, commercial and operational management experience gained from the aviation, IT, retail and Government sectors.
Mr. van Pelt has held and been responsible for an Airline Operating Certificate and he brings a wealth of experience in the aviation sector as a former Australian airline CEO. Through a variety of senior management roles in the last fifteen years Mr van Pelt has built a unique skill set from successful leadership experience with both commercial and government organizations and with business start up and diversification activity. Mr. van Pelt is a valuable addition to MIKOH and a key asset for any solution integration project team.
Neil Mitchell, Vice President of Marketing
Neil Mitchell is responsible for all aspects of marketing for MIKOH. This includes product marketing & planning, roadmap & new market development, partnership development & management, marcom & brand development, as well as the critical role of supporting the business development and technology/product development roles.
Mitchell has over 20 years of marketing experience, over a quarter at the VP level, much of which has been based in Silicon Valley working for some of the leading high technology companies. Mitchell has considerable experience of developing businesses across Asia, Europe and North America.
Mitchell has a trail of proven success in some of the largest semiconductor companies through to some of the smallest, most nimble successful start-ups. Most recently Mitchell worked for a Sequoia funded startup, Xceive Corp, which under his watch introduced the worlds first RF silicon tuner for performance applications with successful penetration of LG Electronics and others. Prior to that, as VP of Marketing, he managed 85 people across US, Canada and India for Genesis Microchip where he introduced and managed a new product line resulting in a quarter of company’s revenue. Other achievements include introducing the first mainstream consumer multimedia solution into a new market place at start-up TeraLogic that resulted in the company being acquired by Zoran Corp. Previously Mitchell worked at Philips and ST Microelectronics on a variety of product-lines.
Mitchell holds an honors degree in Computing Science from Staffordshire University in the UK.
David Rodriguez, Senior Director, Manufacturing
David Rodriguez brings to MIKOH more than 15 years experience in manufacturing program management, supply chain execution and manufacturing engineering. He previously served as a customer program management consultant with Celestica where he ran product and process operations for a variety of clients.
Previously, Rodriguez oversaw contract manufacturing relationships for Corvis Corporation as a program manager and in-house manufacturing for Bausch & Lomb as a process engineering manager. He also served as a product cost engineer for Xerox Corporation. Rodriguez holds an MBA from the University of Rochester and a BSEE from Manhattan College.
Gary Phipps, Financial Contoller and Company Secretary
Gary Phipps is MIKOH’s financial controller and company secretary. He is responsible for the company’s corporate governance practices, financial management and corporate administration. Phipps has more than 20 years experience in senior financial management roles across both listed and private companies. He has worked across a broad range of industries, including transport, health care and communications.
Phipps has a bachelor’s of commerce, and is a CPA, an affiliate of Chartered Secretaries Australia. He is also currently completing a graduate diploma in applied corporate governance.
