It is the 100th anniversary of the first International Women’s Day. Started initially to celebrate the achievements and rally around the struggles of women around the world, this special day seems as relevant today as it did in 1911. It is true that women have come a long way. Many women around the world can vote and work professionally to support their families, but many still are fighting for equality and their place in the world.
We are happy and proud to be women in the free world. Traveling all around the world and seeing the different cultures, sharing experiences with our sisters from other races, it is exciting to see the bond between women world wide.
